Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a fun day. Isidora came to visit with her parents and we had a traditional Thanksgiving meal in the early afternoon. Then we went to Nana's where Amelia had a ball playing with Hailey. Here she is with one of her zhu zhu pet pieces on her head. Silly girl!

I've Been Wondering My Whole Life

Amelia's new phrase to ask something she's wondered about for a while is to say she's wondered about it her whole life. When she starts a question out like this, it's all I can do not to laugh out loud. I have to use a lot of constraint to hear her out and then answer her question, especially since it's not something earth shattering or even deep. The most recent one was about the store Gamestop. She is soooo funny!

Gobble Gobble

Amelia and I were driving to church this morning.  (Daddy was out of town.) We came over the hill and there were three turkeys crossing the road. I slowed down to let them finish getting to the side and pointed them out to Amelia. She responded with, "Gobble, gobble! Winner! Winner! Turkey dinner!!"
