Swingin' in the New Year

Thanks to global warming, we had a great day yesterday for taking a trip to the park with Livia & her mommy. Amelia loved swinging - the giggles of glee were wonderful. She also really enjoyed "racing" Livia down the dual slide (both with the help of mommies who never quite let go).

Walking around in the fake mulch was also a lot of fun. Before going to the park, we changed shoes since walking in that stuff isn't a great idea in her cute but soft-soled Robeez. So Amelia wore her jelly-like sandals that Grandma doesn't like (but that Mommy bought anyway because she's such a child of the '80's).

You can really see in these pictures how Amelia's hair is coming in - there's enough to blow in the breeze!
